Day 17-Antique Green

Antique Green

Antique Green was first a catalog color in 1973 and again from 1981 to 1999.  Antique Green is a pale green color but is not cased.  It is slightly darker than Marine Crystal.

Update June 23, 2012: I discovered today that there are 2 different Antique Greens.  This is the original formulation.  In the 1991 catalog, Blenko reintroduces the color Emerald.    Blenko also introduces a new color which in the year 2000 would be called Seafoam.  However, from 1991 to 1999 the color that I have known as Seafoam was called Antique Green.    The old formulation can be found in the old silver hand label and the square “B” label.   The new formulation can be found in the Square “B” label and the new plastic hand label, but technically,  if it has the new hand label it is called Seafoam.
