Day 199-Opaline Yellow

Blenko Water Bottle Opaline Yellow

This Opaline Yellow water bottle has the correct label for being made in 1986.  This particular example has mostly the milky yellow areas with hardly any of the clear yellow.  It glows when placed under ultraviiolet light.

    • Certain chemicals will fluoresce under ultraviolet light. Originally I was thinking that this might help us determine colors, for example if Topaz would flluoresce and Amber did not them we could use this to determine the color. I have not found this to be of any use at this point but have not made a quest of it. (Yet.)
