Day 314-Opaline Yellow

Blenko Water Bottle Opaline Yellow

Opaline Yellow was only a catalog color in 1986 and is therefore a challenge to find.  It fluoresces  when placed under an ultraviolet light source.    Actually, Opaline Yellow was a catalog color in 2000 also, but there was so little “opal” in the color that the name was changed to just Yellow in 2001.  The 2000 Opaline Yellow has a slight greenish tint and will not be etched as the date etching did not begin until July of 2001.
