Day 357-Sapphire

Blenko Water Bottle Sapphire

Sapphire and Cobalt are not the same color with a different name.  Sapphire started out as a color in the Teal/Peacock family but somewhere early during it run as a catalog color the formula was changed to one that is much closer to Cobalt.  The Silver Hand label makes us sure that this was originally sold as Sapphire.   It also has the raised ridge bottom.  If this color has the Orange Ball label, it could be either Sapphire or Cobalt as the name change was done in 1990 which is about the middle of the time period for that label.
